A Pome a Day for a Year

Thanks Jesus! I love chocolate eggs,
not sure how many of them existed
back in biblical times, though,
probably very few
if we are keeping it real,
but then again, what is real?

I can tell you that the orange chocolate
from my smarties egg,
is exceptionally truth, because
I have had half already,
and the sweet orangey taste embedded
into that big old egg is
well lush.

No, I am not going to sit here
and ask questions about
Jesus and the chocolate eggs
(almost a Roald Dahl novel there)
just enjoy the fact
that all of us over here,
whether you believe or not,
has been given a
long weekend to reflect on oneself.
