Just a joke! Just a barb,
a prang, a poke, a potshot of humour
meant for us to have a little laff!
A little giggle, all of us, at no ones
expense.

I do not want to laugh directly at you,
Sideways laughing,
chuckling along the fringes
of our bristling personalities and in references,
that belly laugh their way into reality,
is the goal and the success.

Laugh with me, laugh with us, laugh
and we shall never feel alone,
laugh, guttural, loud, stacatto, shy,
unassuming, brash, bold,
just laugh, and loud!
