A Pome a Day for a Year

I have started calling pyjamas, pajempers.
No real reason why, 
just sometimes I like to mix it up.
Of course, I have also renamed Bed to Benjempers
and am adding empers onto the end of just about everything.

LVG was confused at first, naturally.
I mean, does your significant other ever say
“Going to put on the pajempers and get in benjempers
for some slempers to the erlempers mempers”?
I warrant the answer is no, but she rolls with it.

There is something remarkably pleasant about 
specific assemblages of letters 
and empers makes me happy.
Or should I say hempers?

No, you could confuse that with hempers;
basically big old money drains that 
weigh a ton and eat several continents worth
of grass and hay.
